Why do I need to re-register for a new Bits4Hair Trade Account if I’ve been a customer for years?

We recently upgraded our website and for data protection reasons we couldn’t transfer existing customer accounts to the new system. Therefore, all customers, including long-term ones, must re-register for a trade account. The registration process is quick and only takes about two minutes. If you have any questions or need assistance, please email us at info@bits4hair.co—our team monitors emails from 8am to 9pm, 7 days a week.

I requested a new password but haven’t received an email. What should I do?

First, confirm that you’ve registered for a trade account on our new we site. If you haven’t, please register and try again.

What proof of ID can I use to open a Bits4Hair trade account?

To qualify for a trade account, please provide one of the following:

  • An original Bits4Hair invoice
  • An invoice from a reputable hairdressing brand or wholesaler
  • A Level 2 NVQ or higher hair qualification certificate
  • A Public Liability Insurance Certificate
  • A business invoice or utility bill
  • A screenshot of your professional social media page(s)

For student hairdressers, we also accept:

  • A valid college card
  • A course enrollment letter or payment receipt

Why did you introduce the Involve Colour line?

We added the Involve line to expand our shade options. After extensive research, we’re confident that this line offers the high-quality colour variety our customers need and is the perfect accompaniment to our Bits4hair range.

What is the Biphasic system and how does it work with Kezy Involve Colour?

The Biphasic system combines Biphasic One and Biphasic Two, transforming the Involve colour line into a versatile semi-permanent-colour system that allows you to seamlessly blend permanent colour at the roots with semi-permanent ends—eliminating the need for additional semi-permanent products. For all other semi-permanent colours you can use the Involve 5 vol. developer (leave in the bowl for 5 minutes before use)

Can I use Biphasic One on its own?

Yes, Biphasic One can be used alone as a semi-permanent colour to refresh faded ends. If you’re working with a mix of natural and highlighted hair, adding Biphasic Two helps avoid lightening/lifting on natural hair.

What is the function of Biphasic Two?

Biphasic Two lowers the pH of the colour formula, reducing alkalinity. This adjustment prevents the permanent colour from affecting natural hair tones, allowing for a true tone-on-tone result.

How should I tone highlighted hair?

To tone highlighted hair without causing root shift, mix 1 part Involve Colour, 1 part Biphasic One and 0.5 part Biphasic Two (e.g., 50ml colour, 50ml Biphasic One, and 25ml Biphasic Two).

How can I refresh mid-lengths and ends?

For refreshing mid-lengths and ends, mix 1 part colour with 1.5 parts developer (Biphasic One or a 5 vol developer).

What’s the best way to maintain vibrant copper or red tones?

To keep copper and red tones vibrant, mix 1 part Involve colour with 1.5 parts 5 vol developer.

Is your hair colour vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes, all our colour ranges are 100% vegan-friendly, containing only plant, synthetic, or mineral-based ingredients, with no animal-derived components. None of our products have been tested on animals. Ingredient lists are available on each product page; if you have questions, email info@bits4hair.co.
